Subjecting your hair to the daily torture of a hair dryer, straighteners, hot rollers or curling tongs can quickly lead to dry and damaged hair. Sadly, once it’s damaged, it’s difficult ever getting it back into good condition again. Simply shampooing alone is never enough to restore shine or give it a glossy and healthy appearance and many hair conditioners struggle to inject any kind of life into listless hair. Fortunately, Clairol Herbal Essences have a wonderful range of affordable hair conditioners which smell fantastic and work fantastically well.
Dandruff is a non-contagious, common skin disorder that can affect adults and the young. Dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis, also known as cradle cap in infants, is an excessive production of skin cells caused by the Malassezia yeast (a type of fungus).

L’Oreal has introduced their first re-usable mousse hair colour that can be used more than once. Whether you dye your hair at home or get it professionally done, you’ll still need to get a touch up or redo it again at least every 4-6 weeks depending on your speed of hair growth. This means an expensive trip to the hairdressers or purchasing another box of hair colour. And if you have longer hair, it can mean you’ll have to buy two boxes.
As I usually only want to touch up the roots, I often have wasted product that ends up in the bin. So I was really excited to see this new L’Oreal Preference Mousse Absolute which contains a ‘Re-Usable’ Permanent Hair Colour. This should hopefully cut down on the amount of hair colour you need to buy.

Some people seem to be blessed with a head full of beautiful, healthy looking hair while others struggle to achieve any kind of bounce or shine.
Although many of the hair care products available today can work wonders with lackluster, dull or thinning hair, it’s the vitamins from the food we eat which will eventually determine how healthy our hair appears.

Head lice aren't discriminatory insects. Although they’re most commonly found among children, they can affect anyone at any time. They’re not harmful, but may cause intense itchiness to the scalp and can be notoriously difficult to eradicate.
But, they won’t clear up on their own, so you must take steps to remove head lice. They're found in all types of hair - short, long, clean, dirty, straight or curly. Head lice cannot jump or fly. Instead they pass between people through direct head to head contact by walking along strands of hair.

Trying to brush tangles out of knotted hair is difficult and often painful. Children in particular are prone to getting their hair tangled as they're not usually too concerned over brushing it to keep it looking tidy. Brushing tangles out of tangled hair is actually quite easy when you know how.
With a little patience and the help of these tips, you'll soon wonder how you ever stressed over unruly tangles.

One of the greatest benefits of long hair are the sheer number of alternative styling options available to you. Whether you choose straight, curly, wavy, an updo or even braided, you need never become bored with your hairstyle. For those with poker straight hair wishing to add a few curls, hair curlers are the obvious choice. However, the type of curlers you use can make or break your style since some are better suited for long hair than others.

Wondering whether your shampoo has gone bad probably doesn’t feature high on your list of health concerns. As shampoo is frequently used on a daily basis, a bottle isn’t usually left open or unused long enough for this to be of any concern. But what if you find an old bottle of shampoo buried away in an old suitcase for instance? Will it still be safe to use? For this reason shampoo does have a shelf life, albeit a long one and some shampoos also have an expiry date.

About Me!
Hi and thanks for visiting my blog!
My name's Caroline and I live in London. I'm a freelance writer and nutritionist, so you'll find a lot of my articles are health based.
I'm also passionately interested in skincare. Although the food we eat has the most noticeable effects on our skin, the skincare products we use has a large part to play.
As such, I often write product reviews and other articles on dealing with skincare and anti-aging.
I hope you enjoyed your visit here and come back soon :-)
