It may have done wonders for Cleopatra's complexion, but for the rest of us, milk is generally something to be drunk rather than dunking ourselves in. But Cleopatra may have been onto something. Milk contains all sorts of nutritional properties which are just as good for the outside of the body as the inside. In fact, washing your face with milk offers benefits that can be found in some of the more expensive skin care products.

Dermal fillers are becoming an increasingly popular choice for those wanting to restore a more youthful appearance to their face. As we age, skin starts to lose its elasticity, becoming looser and more prone to wrinkling. Fillers can be used to fill the lines and wrinkles that start to appear, while providing greater tone and suppleness to sunken cheeks or under eye hollows. Sculptra® is one of many dermal fillers which is commonly used for these purposes.

Not too long ago the only realistic way of taking a few years off an aging face, was to undergo a facelift. Nowadays, with the increase in revolutionary new treatments for skin care, patients no longer need to face the surgeon's scalpel to remove unwanted lines and wrinkles.
Dermal fillers offer an alternative to a surgical facelift while providing a more natural result. Procedures are quick with little or no pain and minimal side effects.

A beautiful tan can give us confidence and make us feel better about the way we look. But working on a tan takes time and you’ll want to maintain it for as long as possible. We all tan at different rates and achieve varying degrees of skin color. The tan we get is all down to our skin type. Some us will turn mahogany brown after a few hours in the sun, while others may spend weeks where they barely change color at all. Whatever tan you have, it won’t last forever but there are steps you can take to ensure it won’t disappear as soon as your holiday is over.

There can’t be many of us who haven’t suffered from sunburn at some stage during our lives. When we’re outside enjoying ourselves, playing sports, or bike riding perhaps, we may not bother with applying sunscreen and we're often not aware we’re burning until it’s too late.
Anyone spending time in the open air is susceptible to the damaging effects of the sun’s rays, even on cloudy days. Sunburn is extremely painful and damaging to our skin and the earlier you start treating it, the sooner you can recover and help limit any further damage.

While the trend for sporting a golden suntan shows no sign of abating, neither does the popularity of using tanning beds. There has been a great deal of negative press publicity regarding the safety concerns of tanning beds. However, this is often due to their misuse by people who are poorly informed regarding protecting themselves.

Frownies for Forehead and Between Eyes |
But there is another, safer, less expensive and all natural alternative, Frownies. I discovered these little miracles by chance while frantically searching online for something to help remove my ever deepening forehead lines. And once I tried Frownies, I was hooked.

About Me!
Hi and thanks for visiting my blog!
My name's Caroline and I live in London. I'm a freelance writer and nutritionist, so you'll find a lot of my articles are health based.
I'm also passionately interested in skincare. Although the food we eat has the most noticeable effects on our skin, the skincare products we use has a large part to play.
As such, I often write product reviews and other articles on dealing with skincare and anti-aging.
I hope you enjoyed your visit here and come back soon :-)
