Since their inception over 40 years ago, Weight Watchers has helped millions of people lose weight. In response to the diet’s popularity, Weight Watchers launched their own range of food products, all displaying their calories and points value.
Of course there is plenty of competition among the popular diet foods and Weight Watchers doesn't come out on top all the time. However, there are many delicious Weight Watchers food products that are well worth trying out, even if you’re not watching your waistline.
Weight Watchers cakes
The cake range from Weight Watchers is a dieter's delight. With an ever expanding range, you can look forward to sampling the delights of treats such as caramel shortcake, mini brownie bites, chocolate cake bars or apple crumble slices. But one of the tastiest options from the cake section has to be the Weight Watchers carrot cake slices.
With a moist cake base topped with a rich, sticky and sweet yogurt icing, they can certainly hold their own against any of their calorific competitors. Each slice has only 71 calories equivalent to one points value. They are however, rather small, and after you’ve eaten one slice it’s hard to stop there.
Weight Watchers from Heinz canned soups
Weight Watchers soups have been around for a long time. Although new flavors come and go, many of the old favourites stand the test of time. Diet or low calorie soups are often thin or watery without much flavor, giving the dieter little incentive to stay on track.
However, Weight Watchers soups are extremely tasty and satisfying especially the Hearty Vegetable Broth which is brimming with tasty vegetables and is very filling. The entire can is worth two Weight Watchers points or 126 calories. Other flavors have less than half these calories, such as the Chicken Noodle with only 50 calories and worth half a point.
Weight Watchers jellies
Unless you’re a child, jelly might not be everyone’s idea of a treat. But when you’re trying to lose weight, sugar free jelly can prove to be an invaluable way of halting an impending binge. Because it’s virtually calorie free and has a zero points value, you can eat loads of it without harbouring any guilty feelings.
Weight Watchers jellies taste just as good as the sugared variety and can easily be turned into a filling and healthy dessert by adding fresh fruit and natural yogurt.
Weight Watchers ready meals
Ready meals are always a convenient stand by item but too often they’re unhealthy and loaded with fat and calories. Fortunately Weight Watchers offers a delicious range of ready meals catering for all tastes. Among traditional favourites are the Classic Cottage Pie, Fisherman’s Pie and Tuna Pasta Bake.
And for those preferring Oriental cuisine there is a wide selection where the Red Thai Chicken Curry with Jasmine Rice and Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice are absolutely delicious. Although the meals are quite small, those that don’t include rice or pasta can easily serve two people, especially when they’re bulked up with plenty of vegetables.
Weight Watchers desserts
When you are on a diet, desserts are usually a no go area. Fortunately, Weight Watchers have come to the rescue once again with their deceptively wicked looking chilled desserts ranging from yogurts to sponges, mousses and crumbles.
Since they are all individually packed into single portions, you won’t end up overeating, unless you open another pot! Especially tasty are the Toffee & Vanilla yogurts which are thick and creamy and average around 50 calories or one point.
Whether or not you are watching your weight, you’ll find hundreds of tasty Weight Watchers products in virtually all areas of the supermarket. Since their products are clearly labelled with the points value and calories, those following the Weight watchers points system can easily include them in their diet.
The cakes, soups, desserts and ready meals are among some of the best Weight Watchers food products on the shelves, making it easy to keep your diet on track while enjoying delicious meals and treats.

About Me!
Hi and thanks for visiting my blog!
My name's Caroline and I live in London. I'm a freelance writer and nutritionist, so you'll find a lot of my articles are health based.
I'm also passionately interested in skincare. Although the food we eat has the most noticeable effects on our skin, the skincare products we use has a large part to play.
As such, I often write product reviews and other articles on dealing with skincare and anti-aging.
I hope you enjoyed your visit here and come back soon :-)
