Women can spend years fruitlessly searching for that illusive anti-wrinkle product that really works. And then one day you suddenly find one and your faith in the beauty industry is restored. Boots Time Dimensions softening line smoother is one of those little miracles that makes you wonder why everyone isn't talking about it.
Time Dimensions in the US is marketed as Time Delay in the UK and is developed exclusively by Boots the Chemist. Boots also market another very popular own brand range under the name No. 7 which seems to be a more upmarket and therefore more expensive brand when compared with Time Dimensions.
However, having used several products from both ranges over the years, I've generally found the Time Delay skincare range to be better value for money, with a wide range of budget priced products that smell lovely and work fantastically well.
The softening line smoother is designed to be used as an aid to minimizing fine lines. It’s not one of those products promising to make your wrinkles instantly disappear or gradually diminish from existence over time. Instead, you use it on a daily basis to help soften and smooth the appearance of your fine lines and wrinkles throughout the day.
It comes packaged in a small, clear plastic squeezable half ounce (15ml) tube which is great because you can see exactly how much you have left as you're using it. To apply, you squeeze a small amount onto the tip of your finger and gently smooth it over your skin. You are supposed to use it on top of your regular moisturizer or eye cream but underneath your foundation if you're using one.
The product comes out of the tube almost like a cloudy gel. You can understand why it's given the name ‘softener’ because it isn't a cream and it's not quite a gel. It's sort of a combination of both. And when smoothing it onto your skin it feels incredibly soft and silky, almost like velvet.
Once you've applied it, you instantly notice your lines fading and your skin takes on a matt appearance rather than shiny as it does after moisturizing. It's quite fascinating. Yes, once you smile and make your usual facial expressions your lines and wrinkles are still there, but they are somewhat blurred. It works really well on fine lines around the eyes as well as nose to mouth lines that aren't too deep. However, don't expect any dramatic changes if you have deeper lines or furrows.
Time Dimensions softening line smoother is a great beauty find from a range of budget priced cosmetics that really deliver results. And costing around $12 in the US or £6 in the UK, it just goes to show you don't always have to pay a premium to get optimum results.

About Me!
Hi and thanks for visiting my blog!
My name's Caroline and I live in London. I'm a freelance writer and nutritionist, so you'll find a lot of my articles are health based.
I'm also passionately interested in skincare. Although the food we eat has the most noticeable effects on our skin, the skincare products we use has a large part to play.
As such, I often write product reviews and other articles on dealing with skincare and anti-aging.
I hope you enjoyed your visit here and come back soon :-)
