The Trocadero cocktail is a delicious mixture of dry and sweet vermouth which is enhanced by the addition of orange bitters and grenadine. The grenadine, made from the pomegranate fruit, provides the beautiful crimson color as well as giving the cocktail a light, sweet flavour.

Trocadero cocktail
Step 1: Measure the ingredients. One by one, measure your ingredients into your cocktail shaker. Add the ice cubes at the end.
Step 3: Strain and pour. Pour the cocktail through a strainer into your chilled cocktail glass.
Feel free to decorate your cocktail with a cocktail cherry or a lemon twist.
Trocadero Cocktail |
• 1 part dry vermouth
• 1 part sweet vermouth
• 1 part fresh lime juice
• Dash grenadine
• Dash orange bitters
• Ice (8-10 small cubes)
• 4 ½ oz. cocktail glass
• Cocktail shaker
• Strainer (if shaker doesn’t have one)
• Measure or jigger
• Cocktail cherry and lemon twist (optional)
Tips and Warnings
Don’t put more than a dash of orange bitters as it’s very strong.
If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, you can use any container with a good fitting lid.
You can use any strainer if your shaker doesn’t have one built in.
